GFS 12z basically a carbon copy of the 6z run so far, so it's backing it's own form:

Kent looks to get 36-40 hours of light/moderate snow with 6-10 hours of that period being heavy or very heavy..... I know its only gfs charts but radar watching sunday through tuesday will be interesting to say the least.... If not just watching out the window.... ;)

Wow!! look at the accumulation amounts in France!!! Lets be havin' that!

Mind you, extreme Eastern parts of EA (on the Norfolk coast) look to get plastered if this comes off!

This one I'm loving, 43mm accumulation over Eastbourne and into Kent!!

Looking at the gfs accum charts taking off todays heavy rain leaves 25mm of snow between sunday evening and tuesday afternoon! 25cm if you took that! (Or x1.5= 37cm wowza) ;)

UKMO has the low much further South than the GFS. Barely scrapes the coast. More reliable than the GFS. Hope so anyway as i have 80 deliveries to do in Worthing on Monday. Snow? No thanks

As Lee says the UKMO is no where nearly as enthusiastic as the GFS is with regards to the Northern extent.

At the moment I'd go for a middle-ground scenario - The further South in the region the higher your chances, Northern parts of Kent etc.. might miss out on this one

If that low could move a tad more north, that would make me feel a little less edgy...
