Saw the transition from heavy rain to heavy wet snow around 7am, starting to settle! Going to Blue water shortly, should be fun!

Whilst its snowing Dartford its not settling, so you should be ok, enjoy bluewater my favourite place :-)

As AS has just pointed out, it is coming down fast in Reigate...

We were thinking of going to the Bluebell Railway's east Grinstead opening gala today with the boys... Seems unlikely now!

Can anyone please explain why I have a notice above my location stating " No warning points". What did I do wring! I can't find anybody else with that in any of the regional threads.

Still snowing steadily here.

Haven't been able to see Lowestoft on the radar because it has been under such heavy snow.

It does make the radar hard to read when you have "Snow" over you for hours and hours yet nary a flake falls from the sky.

Morning GP, it's now settling on roads and pavements. Looks like no gritting has taken place - our road has been gritted each time this year, but no evidence of it happening this time. Temp has fallen further to 0.1c according to my weather station

I suspect the 10 year old's football match is about to be postponed, unless the coach has a junior size 1970s-style orange ball!

Only you see that on the forum, if you do something wrong and get a warning the moderators will add points until you reach the limit you can't post, it's just like the yellow red card system in football .biggrin.png

I think it's only the member that can see their own 'warning points'.

I sm sure there are a few of us though who would like to see a warming point soon!

Light snow, nothing settling. Looking at the radar, the heavy stuff is all to the east and west of me whilst all the very light stuff is being drawn toward me like a magnet. That makes a change.....

Totally unexpected, wasn't supposed to come south of the river

Moderate snow, settling on cars

Makes the snow sound like a London cabbie!
