Almost nothing in the south side of Glasgow - just the tiniest flakes of snow I've ever seen! However, as little as there is here, it always seems to be worse for the Ayrshire contingent!

The west almost always does poorly regardless of the setup. We're too far west to benefit from an easterly as shown in Dec 2010, only seem to get deep cold in a northerly without the snow, and last year when we had a straight westerly the showers missed us entirely but hit the likes of Livingston in the east!

Time to move house me thinks! Enjoy the snow everyone who has it!

Good one Ross I'm measuring near enough 6CM depth down here - got any measurements from "up the hill"?

If I wasn't at work tomorrow I'd probably be up the factories in the car parks doing doughnuts!

Give me 2 minutes ill be back with the results!! Well maybe 10minutes. :D

edit: Just under 13cm here!! Pretty good in the form of showers. :yahoo:

So there was a radar lull so I went out for a clear and a measure. 4cm since 6, 6cm since 4 and 11cm since last night - all on cars.

12-15cm on grass.

And snowed lightly/steadily while I was out and still is.  :D

Radar looks like a bit of a gap coming up but more behind it by the looks of it, and it's not skitty little showers.

Trying to find somewhere you haven't scraped up snow for a snowball!

The showers out to the west don't look as though they are losing any intensity at all. If anything they seem to be pepping up a bit over the last half an hour. Still moderate snow for me and about 4cm so far, temperature 0.9c/0.1c.

I hope he's not been letting any kids, dogs etc out into the garden to "ruin" the pristine snow. That's just not allowed!

Cold enough to snow here, if only there weren't so many hills in the way. I may be forced to head to Glenshee or the Lecht for a snow fix at the weekend, assuming the upcoming storm doesn't wash and/or blow away all the snow.

Just back in from my society meeting/pub, been some decently heavy snow here, not lying on gritted surfaces but maybe a cm on grassy bits so far. Struggling to get this far east but good to see the radar still looks good and a lot of people seem to have decent accumulations.

I actually ruined the untouched snow in the back garden, shame :D

Surprised at the depth when I went out to measure - almost 4"   Been in a bit of a lull but looking like it may kick off again soon.

Great to see the reports/photos coming in!

Needless to say no lying snow in Crail, we've had a couple of light flurries but that's it. Currently 1c.

There is some hope for you. It has got heavier here recently and the wind is stronger.

Off and on here think heavy stuff incoming though. 2 inches so far! Anyway its not all doom and gloom tomorrow pm. We have to get 2 hours of very heavy snow. Then the mild blip with rain only lasting a few hours. Depending on speed and trajectory of the low it might not be a total melt.

looking at radar and nice long line of snaw inbound. approaching 3" now with no let up in sight.

You are in my exact line but to the west. I think this next one could be a beauty!
