Maybe I did the wrong thing. Currently sat not far from Hull as thought the Humber looked well placed. Just light showers so far.

I wouldn't worry too much Supacell, nothing much happening here either. Most of the showers are passing South of here.No hail or anything exciting as yet!.Think time is running out for today now.

If anyone wants to live stream any chases they do this year, please drop me a pm as we can plug you into the same system we're using for the USA storm chase  :)

A couple more distant rumbles here, hoping the storm around East Grinstead area holds its intensity as that seems pretty active right now!

Yep little storm here, with a strike to the north west of town. Some more activity out Welshpool way too. Looks like a decent spot to be this afternoon.

I think up here it's early days yet as peak activity likely to be from now on. I have my fingers crossed it won't be a wasted trip.

Well it's been a very quiet day on the south coast....all the action has been at least 20km north as per usual. Can see the anvil tops of the cells over north Sussex/ south Surrey, hoping for something soon

Loved the thunder and hail earlier- I had a poor squirrel sheltering with me on the balcony whilst I watched it! Looks like something else is brewing on the horizon at the moment.

Dunno if I'll get to post much in the way of pics this year as our block is undergoing maintenance, so it's smothered in scaffolding, blocking all my views :(

I've had a few squally showers today that have produced the odd rumble, but besides that I haven't seen any lightning today, bar a couple flashes last night.

Rumble of thunder from a cell just to the north of here, passing by to the north. In fact, I'm passing through the slightest of gaps between two big cells. Got caught in a big hailstorm in central Bristol at about 1pm too!

Wow, just drove through a very nice storm! Everywhere was white with hail, and it was some of the biggest hail i've witnessed (5p-1p sized) Two very close cg's with loud booming thunder and some nice blue lightning. Back home now and more thundery showers are skirting just to my north - Can still hear the odd distant rumble :)
