Last week was spot on, time to kick this miserable excuse for a winter into touch . Had enough of cold rain and freezing my b........ks off at work now.  I've got plenty of work that I need to get done,

I was pondering why Netweather wasn't busier tonight and then i realised the majority of the interesting weather is coming off the north sea affecting 'Northern' parts of the Uk!

The Scottish regional thread has been fairly busy, but that's where all the weather action has been.

That is nothing new then. Looks like another 'bust' tonight. The usual hype and the usual bit of drizzle and light rain. Hope the sunshine and higher temperatures return soon if this 'unsettled' weather can't produce an interesting event for a change.

A beautiful but chilly day today with that clarity that only a Northerly can bring.

Two walks around two different local parks and after the second one it snowed briefly followed by a couple of heavy hail showers despite the strong sunshine.

Nothing hung around for long in the sunshine but it added interest.

Spring is upon us and as much as i like snow, blizzards etc, near misses at this time of year lead to disappointment, bring back the warmth of last week i say and hope for!

So nothing unusual then....

Just as well I live in a part of the country that rarely gets snow so I don't ever get my hopes up, that being said I'm ready for the warmth now and so is my garden.

Total amount of snow, I have seen from this widespread event= 0

Had a brief flurry of a minute or two here. Three more frosty mornings to endure then milder air to the rescue from Monday and a resumption of Spring.

3 or 4 good days ahead, nice crisp temps but then a return to enduring mild boring crap again. Oh well least we had something.

It's colder this morning than it was during the whole of winter.

Had a good covering of Snow earlier but it soon melts in this sun that's out now.

Always case once we reach end of March.

On and off heavy snow showers all day here ❄️ Like others have said, there’s no settlement. I wish this could have been 3 months ago! I wonder if we’re going to have to wait until summer to see any nice weather?

Just had a couple of snow showers blow through but not enough for any coverage.  Still, it's almost as much snow as we've managed through most of "winter" 2021-22.

As much as I'm not fussed about snow and cold temps this time of year, it would've at least been nice to see a brief flurry of snow or hail or something, just to make sure the stuff still exists. This area sure does have it's own microclimate as its always a complete contrast to the rest of the country, its not Even that cold here at Almost 10c and the sun is very warm.

On the radar they have no problem reaching the coast to the east and west, but they dissipate before they get here, leaving just a few fluffy clouds.
