I lived in Wiltshire for four years and had a decent snowfall on the 31st January/1st February 2019! 😎  You need to get ahead of global warming and head north to the mountains! 😉

I'm thinking more seriously about moving to Scotland than I have in my life! Although your summers suck so i'm not quite convinced yet ...

I was frozen this evening after visiting my mums flat in south london. I felt colder coming back in 2c this evening. That wind is making it feel even colder.

Surprisingly the Highlands do not too bad in the summer as the mountains to the west break up a lot of the cloud , Aviemore area has a better summer than we have in west central Scotland

Yes, would be ideal for me and would look to settle around Aviemore or perhaps Braemar, but that is rather remote!

My two summer holidays in the Highlands had good weather overall and was fairly warm.

20-25C, some days were cooler but overall comfortable.  Fairly rare to go above 32C in the Highlands, although after last summer who knows what lies ahead?!

Yet we had rain, which is probably ice by now. Think the trough that went through might have bought in colder uppers behind it, now wind has changed direction. But of course it's dry now.
