Just had a 10 minute shower - gave a nice covering - and wasn’t expected at all.

Glossop usually struggles in a polar maritime flow.

What’s the best scenario then for us? Easterly?

different here in the SW Peaks mate, more a case of luck but rare i see glossop pounded by a westerly, usually its along the mersey into buxton

you want a front or an easterly which are rare here. last time glossop stood out was prob 4th march 2016

Snow scraps incoming,  probably won't be able to distinguish the stuff from the frost lol.

Maybe we get 5 min light snow out of it? Lol

Grauple shower passing through. 1-2cm on cars and paths this morning. Not so much on the grass weirdly. Temp 1C now so it’ll start melting quickly soon. But that’s the 3rd morning I’ve woken up to a snow this winter. A real rarity.
