It does help when you’re in the middle of a continent and 1600m absl 😆

Fantastic walk to school and back this morning. Beautiful views across the village to Knowl Hill and Rooley Moor. Equally as good as the walk at 20c on a clear July morning.

Could contain: Outdoors, Nature, Scenery, Ice, Weather, Countryside, Rural

Could contain: Motor, Machine, Engine, Neighborhood, Outdoors, Turbine, Wind Turbine, Windmill

Could contain: Weather, Nature, Outdoors, Ice, Vegetation, Plant, Scenery, Frost, Snow, Tree

Looks good.

I’d be somewhere on the other side of Rooley Moor, way over to the right if at home, left if at work.

Wow, it was only a few days ago that it was t-shirt weather and you was going to dip your tootsies in the Med.  Hope you have managed to find your dream holiday home, not long now till you are back I see.  Glad you got snow too.

Indeedlydoodly was lovely last week… very topsy turvy weather… the low pressure southwest of Ireland currently is supposedly meant to head here and bring a bit more snow tomorrow evening

Cheers thank you 🤞👍👌

Looks better for south Cumbria and north Lancs. Damian might finally be happy.

Mmm not sure, hard to pinpoint where precipitation will fall, we may be lucky.

Last night no fresh snow here, just a slight skittering that stayed in tact on cold sheltered surfaces all day, whereas western and southern hill sides exposed to the sun were cleared of the dusting.

Not as cold as yesterday, maxed around 3.5 degrees.

Current temp 0.7 degrees, another air frost on the cards. It would be good to at least receive a cm of snow, we have been very poorly placed for snow so far this season.

-0.5C with patchy cloud in the marginals. Been a nice day of blue skies and patchy cloud. Some impressive looking cells slid by to the south west this afternoon. Slight thaw around lunchtime but snow cover still in place. Interesting to see what the next batch of showers bring-BBC graphics still indicating they are fairly substantial. Could be some serious ice issues in the morning.

Hmm 🧐 Met Office app which to be fair to them was actually ok in terms of accuracy last night has me under light - heavy periods of snow from 2am-8am tomorrow. We shall see I suppose ❄️🤞👀

Frozen solid out there, where the snow lay is an icy mess and where's it's cleared there is black ice. Not a pleasant dog walk.
