Beautiful clear blue sky , tomatoes ripening at last,  cucumber put on a growth spurt .

We have what I call thunder flies as well , but loads of crickets too

Very warm,  should help the pneumonia to go away and the sun should aid recovery.

I thought you loved 16c and drizzle?

😂 Yes, what was I thinking? I hate blue, hate the sun, hate warmth, hate life. Hate hate hate!

Got out of bed and dressed in Shorts and t-shirt in anticipation of the nicer weather arriving - opened the curtains and it was foggy...proper November morning!

Even now it has only lifted to grey cloud and no sign of any sunshine...

Are you in Bradley Stoke?

As I am around the corner in Longwell Green and it’s (near enough) clear blue skies and warm sunshine here.

No I am at home in Longlevens today, Bradley Stoke is where I go when I have to go into the office.

Sunny spells 21C. Finally, finally for the first time in weeks it's actually comfortable and pleasant.

Oooh the mods are going to have fun deleting posts in here later lol ...

Looks like you're in luck this time, as the posts are still here. 😁

I guess it all depends on what kind of a mood the mods are in at the time.

A vivid blue sky today. Feels slightly surreal. Nice and warm, but not hot (for those who struggle with anything over 22/23c 😉)

Fingers crossed for clearing for those under cloud currently.

The good news is the sun has broken through and quite rapidly so in the end 🙌

Just to support what you say WDW, here's the satellite image from 07.35 as seen from Eumetsat. I've circled where I think you are and you were definitely in the clag and with 0 mph wind earlier, whilst not many miles away folk woke up to clear sky. High res models suggest cloud struggling to completely clear in your part of the world until this evening. Better luck tomorrow!

EDIT: Glad the sun's out now. 👍

There is in the west, honestly not sure how much more I can take of this cloudy cool weather, We've had 6 weeks of this and a lot of unusable weekends, enough already!  We had brief sun for 30 minutes and it just lifts the mood so much.  Can someone please tell me the rest of August and September is going to be sunny and warm please

On the Met Office deep dive yesterday they mentioned cooler than average sea temperatures around the SW at the moment that would result in more cloud cover down in your part of the world.

Pleasant day here in Estonia as well. Today is what I would call a "classic" Baltic summer day (not whatever 18C muck we had in July, which some people were convinced is nomal warm summer weather for our latitude). Around 21-23C, mostly sunny with a few bening cumulus clouds and a light winds. Not exactly hot ( imo it's still a bit too chilly for the beach/swimming) but warm enough to be out in summer clothes and not feel cold.

Yes the days of strict rules are long gone aren't they! Now it's anything goes one day and no your all naughty the next day. Depends on what colour pants they have on on which day I guess!! Shame there is no hard and fast boundaries anymore across the board so people don't really know where they stand any more. Still if chatter is allowed then I'm up for it. It's a good way to bond and make friends 😄

It’s flying ants day!  Bit late isn’t it?  Usually July, but after 6 weeks of dross, the ants are seizing their belated opportunity to do what they do…

Decent day today, warmer tomorrow.
