    • I felt cheated out of a decent July and this slightly makes up for it.

    • I'd hoped we'd escaped the heat for the rest of this year. How wrong I was. Roll on next week!

Voted for cheated out of a decent July myself. I have enjoyed this spell of hot weather very much. Even if we had a 2018/2022 style summer I would still have welcomed this heat. Its only really towards the end of Sept I want things to start cooling down.

Even though I’m missing it, I’m glad others are making the most of what was in very short supply after late June.

Cheated out of July. Swap July and September so far and the summer would have been considered a good one.

Why is there no option for 'I'm thoroughly enjoying this spell for what it is' rather than referencing July? That would get my vote.

Yes July was poor but it's gone now- no point crying over spilled milk.

Yes I just wrote them last night off the top of my head, but I like your option too.

Personally, I am sick to death of this wretched weather and can't wait for it to be over.

Loving it. Six weeks ago would have been unbearable but happy to make the most of it as it may be next May before we reach 23c again. Looking forward to a glorious autumn followed by a nice cold snowy winter now.

If it were guaranteed that we could be free of 23c until next May...I'd be happy. But what I don't like is these random, unseasonable heat spikes that seem to occur at any time, rather than having proper seasonal weather like we did t'old days. A glorious (seasonal!) autumn followed by a cold snowy winter...yep, definitely agree!

Ideally I’d prefer slightly less humid air, but the warmth is lovely and days of blue skies and sunshine have been joyous. A week isn’t a long time and there are likely 6-7 months of mainly chilly damp gloom ahead, so this has been a nice boost against SAD, etc

A week of sleepless nights is long enough thanks.  If you want warmth turn up the heating, if you want sunshine get a SAD lamp.  Most of us cannot escape this heat.

Alternatively why don't you buy an AC unit! Perhaps? there are some whom enjoy this current weather and don't want to turn their heating on as you suggest 🤯🙄 and a SAD lamp isn't a replacement for the real thing 👍

Voted for the cheated out of a decent July.

Took its time to fall apart here in the extreme SE, but fall apart it did,big time after a super June.

August a mixed bag here, would call it decent overall if I was generous.

Option 2 definitely. Can't wait for it to end and nope I never see the sun again. I'm tired of waking up lethargic and unrested. I'm tired of my clothes sticking to me. Everything is just so much harder when the weather is filthy like this

Definitely enjoying this spell of weather. Yes, it's suffocating at times, but that's the way I like it. Warmer weather leaves me tired, colder weather just flat out makes me physically ill... no winning really! I'm sure 2023 will be remembered for the horrendous July and August, but as a heat lover, I won't deny that June and September make up for that loss.
