Shower just started here in Flint. Not unexpected, quite a bit of convection going on the past few hours.

thunder, lightening and torrential rain here in consett :)

Just told my parents they can take the dogs out now :)

Looks like it's just passing to my N on the radar, it's really exploded in the last few updates.

Watch out Newcastle!

And here! Heavy rain, but only 1 rumble heard. Looks like they're getting it good just south/southwest of the city centre especially :)

I thought i heard a rumble but i did not take much notice of it but it looked like my ears was not playing up.

Steady rain atm, slightly darker to the west as it has been for a while now, i watched the cell gaining strength but no thunder/lightning to be seen.

There's a developing CB to the East of Flint at the moment. It gave a light shower here, but it looks to be building fast and my guess is anywhere Manchester to Mid-Cheshire could get something from this. Keep an eye on it; it's looking promising.

Skies are not all that thundery it has to be said, i would say its just like a typical skyline when its raining by a weatherfront than anything conective. Rain at the moment is moderate-heavy.
