It's a shame TEITS hasn't joined us yet this year, instead favouring the more popular SE thread.

Agreed, what a tart he is  Love you really TEITS.

Liking this run a lot. Everything seems shifted a lot further south by Tues compared to the 12z as well, meaning we are once again seeing bitterly cold air knocking on the door from the east.

"Same old pub run, always drinking"

If this was Deal or No Deal, it would have to be deal Noel.

Cracking run, incredibly low temperatures, lots of snow and a possibility of a white Christmas.

It just gets better! This easterly is garbage compared to what the Northerly/North Westerly promises. :drinks: West is best! :drinks:

Still, nice to look at! And it makes a nice change to see the mild rubbish being put further back into FI rather than the other way round. This cold isn't going anywhere without a fight.

Frontal system heading southwards, whilst the colder air is slowly filtering out of the SE and the south Midlands could well see some snow early this morning though amounts probably won't be all that impressive and won't last long before the warm front comes southwards and the precip turns pretty quickly to rain I'd imagine from that point onwards.

Yeah, I think 30-60 minutes of snow will be possible before it turns quickly back to rain, maybe a light dusting over higher ground.

the brilliant runs continue this morning, with a risk of snow in all parts at times. the met office(not UKMO, the site forecasts) are suggesting it will turn less cold at the weekend? this confused me i have to say, whats going on? if anything, it is set to get colder by the weekend. :pardon:

Depends what you mean by less cold (as in milder turning to sleet/rain or just the temps fluctuating a bit) Doesn't really suggest anything much milder there^^

3c on Saturday the max, considering its only Wednesday that will change!

Hmm another horrible, miserable, grey and damp day.

Light drizzling rain, made more annoying by my friends' reports of snow elsewhere in the country!

Wishing the colder and fresher air would find it's way in now.

Temp 1.8 and dp 1.7.

Bleck.
