What you really need to do is ...steal his snow...then build a huge snow dam across The Avon causing the water to back up and flood Warwick!!! that'll serve him right!!! ;)

(well that's what I'd do  )

I said I wanted the Atlantic back last night, but today has actually been very festive, probably the thickest frost ive ever seen, looks like snow, my street very wintry,

hope it stays for a 'white' Xmas, may even be worth a few photos of staffords frost fest :aggressive:

no more snow for me, but lets see the frost piling up!

YES looks close for Warwick,

Heavy snow here about 40 miles south of Warwick

And came from reading today heavy heavy snow all day (that gets on BBC news)

I never feel part of the 'South East' but just a bit too far south to be called midlands

Good news! Blow it 25 miles down the A5 to Tamworth please lol

Will try my best. I'm far too jealous of the tundersnow reports in the SE, let's have it in the midlands.

At least temperatures are more favourable here to avoid any rain, even in the very light precip.

Another victory for the UKMO today I see. The GFS made NOTHING of this feature yesterday, only the UKMO did and was yet again proven right.

I mentioned it on the modeling thread last night but no one wanted to pick up on it , to busy with T144

Actually the frost here last night (-7'c) added about 1/4" to our 1/16th of an inch of snow ironically.

Hi Andy, live in London, parents in Oadby. It's a potent front, just dumped an inch and a half on west London in warm air and on wet ground, before turning to rain and easing off. I reckon it's heading for you, looking at the radar. Should saty as snow outside the urban heat island of London. Hope so, because I want a decent amount of snow to play with when I get up there on the 23rd for the holidays.

Hey

Oadby is just 3 miles away from me, the band is CLOOOOSE now, still needs to come 10 miles further North though to reach me!!! Can it do it!!?? *wipes sweat from forehead*

Everyone giving up ?

The precipitation is moving north and, thankfully, the northern edge has become more organised from the bits-and-pieces-fest that produced nothing earlier. It's ever-so slightly heavier now, still not enough to settle. Promising signs.

Ok....steal all the snow from the southeast and build an even bigger dam, backing up the Avon and flooding over the tops of the hills of Warwick and then flooding the southeast!!!! (let this be a lesson to them....no-one takes snow from us midlanders....there can be only one!)

I think I might need your help with this - it's turning into a big job! Anyway, snow tantalisingly close right now. Will I get some before Andy? The battle is on!

Wednesday nights feature is the sort of Low that ends up further South nearer the time, marginal but could some snow for the South Midlands and maybe the Birmingham area.

That could be better i suppose at the same time. Things will be less marginal for us then the charts show now probably if it was to be further south.

I think this could be a good event for Northants. The snow band will pivot NW in the coming hours and stay there overnight. BBC graphics showed snow over us until at least 5am.

Must admit it's still light at the moment but continuous.
