Heavier ppn, but only managing to produce sleety periods. More than I expected. Just a shame what little snow cover I had is melting fast.

And does anybody else find it terrible that the Met Office gave us warnings for that complete non-event for Saturday, yet have given us NOTHING for tonight, which could give a decent covering for many areas!

Think I must have gone through a gap in the pptn as it's now stopped raining.

Just goes to show though that when it comes to snow, nowcasting is often the name of the game!

Sod Shefali, as long as she is doing the Midlands Today forecasts I will not watch them!

Bottom line is that the BBC and Met Office have called it wrong...again.

No because when the situation is marginal its the intensity of the precip that makes the diffference between rain/snow. So to be fair to the Met O its impossible to tell who will get snow or rain.

It's trying to snow and failing. With the end of the PPN fast approaching it's not going to happen. Those to the north and east of me prepare yourself for a period of sleet, but nothing more.
