And the excessive use of 'man'. I also escaped the dodgy accent regardless of spending my early life in Pensnett :(

:(

I think nowadays the Black country accent is fading away. The younger people dont seem to have it as such anymore.

Anyway back on topic, still plenty of snow reports from the SW and Wales.

Planty of green popping up according to the weather type radar on the Northern flank.

Seems to be rotating over the last half hour. Loosely though I might add. We don't have a supercell snowstorm coming. :(

GFS 06z pushes things slightly SE wards, probably what we needed here. :(

Just about cold enough for any precipitation to turn to snow here, 1.0c/0.3c and it's pretty stable.

Your temps always lower than mine, I had 2.5 max yesterday, now at 2.6C

Interesting to note that some are reporting dropping temps under the ppn.

Temp 1.0 and DP 0 according to the radar here.

Expecting a rise over the next couple of hours though.

Is there anywhere I can get more accurate (and up to date) Temps and dew points from? I don't trust the radar's built in feature :D

Thanks.

Looking at that and comparing it to the radar, it does look like temperatures have dropped to freezing under the PPN. May bode well seeing as we're not forecast to rise above 2C today.

The thing is though, we will get the PPN at the worst possible time - early to mid afternoon.

No sooner did I click on the Add Reply button, and out of the sky falls soft hail and snow.

Could be an interesting afternoon. :D

Monumental downgrade. The Met Office have issued a flash warning for 2-5cm of snow - which normally means we will get nothing more than a slushy dusting :D
