Much heavier here now and the band increasing in size by around 50% in the space of one 15 minute run.Where the hell did this come from??

Nae seems to offer roughly the same for this area as the 6z. Id guess roughly averaging 8mm over 6-9hours. Of course if the snow ratio is slightly better than your usual 1mm = 1cm then 10cms definately plausible.

Oh my days nae is beautifull!!upgrades it even more and now even the east midlands is looking at 5-10 cms widely!!

Where in LE3 do you live again mate? I ride over Western Park daily when I go work and there's still plenty of snow on it! Sadly most of the roads and pavements have none left though

Leicester Forest East, still have a decent covering we are at 104m asl so a little extra height and a little bit colder than the city.

Its the boundary between the slightly less colder air to the west and the

colder air to the east (528 Dam line).

NAE 12z looks broadly the same to me, perhaps ever so slightly worse, but nothing out of the bounds of random changes that will make a tangible difference.
