What a vile day. Shower after shower and not very warm either.

Typically arranged for the first Monday of half term.

Nothing more frustrating when there's things to do on both cars maintenance wise.

Lol BBC weather app shows light cloud for Oldham all day... its absolutely leathering it down & has for most of the day...Met app a little better with heavy showers.  Grim for being on the threshold of summer.

As other Oldham members above say what a vile day it's been. No higher than 10C here which is probably about 7 or 8C below normal for late May. A very gradual warm up from tomorrow. Probably been the worst day of the week today.

Seem to be escaping the showers by and large so far today, had about three none of them lasting more than 5-10 minutes and only one heavy. Plenty on the radat but seem to beome slower moving further inland and to the east. Lets see how the rest of the day pans out, the days are so long now a good 5 hours of daylight left still...

It is cool though for late may, highest max is now 13.8 degrees and given it is under bright skies - not great.

Taking each day as it comes weather wise forecasting , in showery set ups its the best thing to do.

Plenty of showers here today but compared to others, we’ve missed out on the heavy stuff.

Under the cloud it had only reached 10c at 2pm which is ridiculous for the last few hours of May and, although things may be warming up a bit as the week goes on, little signs of a heatwave.

grim.

Beautiful clear skies at 5am, clouded over by 6am.  Sharp showers through the morning 2 of them quite heavy.  Max of 11°.  Bedding plants in pots enjoyed the rain apart from 'Billy no mates' peony, the rain has bashed most of its petals off, looks quite pathetic now.  Warmer temps needed, still wearing coat to work, fleece not warm enough.

Pretty dire for late May.

Noah would have felt highly satisfied that he'd built his ark here.

As I type, its actually stopped raining.

A more unsettled day today with more in the way of showers compared to the weekend, although I think they were generally fewer and lighter here compared to other parts of the region. A cool day as well, a high of 13.1C.

Mostly dry here today. Cool though.

Had to keep the electric heater on most of the day!

Just had a heavy shower, been watching this cumulus grow vertically, looking East from Macc.  @Had Worse was it you, who last summer saw some filming at Dinting station?  If so, the drama that was being filmed called Everything I Know About Love, starts on BBC One on 7th June.  Wonder if the Dinting scenes made it to the final edit.

Yes it was me.

Thanks for that.

Back on the Stamford Park (Boating lake carpark). Just had a brief heavy downpour but nothing like earlier.

We had several heavy showers this morning, but things have dried up this afternoon with occasional sunny breaks. Gusty winds.
