Another interesting UKV run for tomorrow on the 15z! I think it's likely to be further East as originally modelled, but I can hope...

The initial destabilization has been moving west small amounts over the last couple of days. Dorset could well be within a shout..

Maybe I might even see some flashes if it keeps coming west or wishful thinking

I am indifferently watching the radar as a slender line of decaying and dull-looking showers amble towards Reigate. I don't know if they have enough 'oomph' to keep going.

So...perhaps tomorrow?  I live in hope...

Good to know! Hoping it slows a tiny bit too so it lands after dusk...

Some hefty showers going up just to the west/north-west of Lincoln within the rain band in the last 20 minutes, not electrified as yet, but I've opened the door on my balcony just in case it produces anything.

I think there's a chance we could be too far north/west tomorrow, but there's a lot of uncertainty over it.

There's a neat looking squall line up in Scotland at the mo:

I will likely be chasing again tomorrow night, although hoping I don't have to travel as far as Sunday when I headed to the south coast. If the UKV 15z comes off I won't need to travel far. I can't get away until about 7/8pm.

Quite a squall line in Scotland but noticed a notch feature in there.

May go for a little chase tomorrow night. I shouldn’t have to travel too far going by the current outputs. Every chance this could end up a Kent and East Anglia clipper however, and verify a bit further east. Seen it happen so many times unfortunately.

We’re just sneaking into the western edge of the possible zone. Depends on where things destabilise, hopefully right over the top of us like Sunday!

But surely not, there’s no way in a quintrillion years we’re going to get two rounds of proper storms in 4days….

Good luck mate, shame about that Ripon cell that you couldn't visualise on,it was a monster on the radar returns and sucked up daugher cells along it's path

i get my car back tomorrow after a long month without it due to a DPF blockage causing engine trouble and the diesel mixing in with the oil and flooding the turbo and air intake,i cannot wait to get back on the road,i do have 2 weeks off in June from the 13th so hopefully there will be some storms around then.

Frustrating watching the convective line fizzle as it gets closer here while scotland is getting blasted...would be nice to get a decent drop of rain let alone any storms for the parched earth that i tried digging today..

You never know!

I won't be too disheartened if it doesn't, after Sunday nights shenanigans.
