Currently 26 degrees with cumulus now appearing and building. Most humid it’s felt in weeks so it’s looking quite promising.

On my flight back, literally everywhere seemed to have better Storms than us most days.

I can see the anvil over the Bodmin storm from here looking East.

Cells popped in the thames estuary and SE essex. One sferic return but i imagine, like always, alot more due to undetected strikes. have a massive headache this afternoon, so i cant tell thunderstorms are due somewhere ! the oppresive humidity is horrible!!

Cells have quite quickly got going over Essex. Look likes the one near Colchester already has a hail core and is now producing sferics. Hopefully should start kicking off all over soon. So desperate for rain here - my pond could certainly do with a top up!

Action now for Lincs, E Midlands heading down to the SE as well. Always a good spot for storms!

For us I reckon we're looking at tomorrow being the better day... just too close to this rancid crud out to the west.

Think they're moving NNE, so off into the N Sea where they'll become massive supercells.... (same for the cluster in Essex).

Looking at windy.com there seems to be a convergence zone running south west from The Wash, however the activity is further east..?😶🌫️🤔

RAIN!!!! We have rain drops - big rain drops - very elevated though and not looking like it will develop into something more (sadly!!!)

But feeling cold spots of rain is amazing!

As per usual storms in north Cornwall and north Devon, happens almost always, totally avoids the southern parts of the counties and it’s the southern parts of the southwest that need the rain the most!

Afternoon all

i have just got back from a job in sleaford which is pretty stifling and on my way noticed a cell moving up from the south east.

im now back home and we have spit spots of rain with thunder to my south east, I would say the Boston area is in the firing line for this one.

update: now steady rain here very oppressive too.

My eyes are on developments later tonight, and tomorrow morning for the south/southwest - the areas that aren't experiencing anything today.
