Got some TCU that has gone up with the last 15 minutes to the East and South East. Worth keeping an eye on, but I think that we've had it for a storm here today. Perhaps a heavy downpour out of them if they develop and reach here.

Sorry - I haven't managed to read all the posts ...

Storm to west of Rochester is now back building EAST. Mamma on eastern side (above my head), and CG, and IC lightning seen. Lightning every minute or two. Suprisingly very little rain, and no chance of photography as lightning is all quick flashes and it's still too light.

GFS = 1 hour out, today. Not bad. not bad at all.

Fantastic catch and shots Nick! Its pretty unphotgenic here but plenty of booming thunder.

The storm centre is to the SE, and its clear to the N and a slow clearing from the W.

On the radar two storms just collided head on, my one heading SE and another moving NW from Kent, what the heck is going on!

30mm past hour parts of the London area, there must be local flooding!

I can confirm this; water was coming through my back door at the most intense moments - had to put towels down.

It's still raining but the intensity is not what it was.

Rain/Hail now at 37mm.

We had a few rumbles of thunder here for over an hour and some heavy showers, seems to of stopped for now. Some patches of blue sky have appeared, is the cloud in this pic possible storm cloud? sorry but I don't know alot about cloud formations.3665173651_91c901aed2_m.jpg

Stonking CG and IC show to my SE now, gradual clearing from the West. Funny how early afternoon the weather seemed so benign, just fluffy cumulus here and there save a few crapper storms over Kent, then it turned in half an hour. Some days you wake up to a sky full of AcCas looking ready to explode and nothing happens. B)

One of the CGs I just saw must have hit the bridge, if you look out the loft skylight here you can see it. :o

I think I was on the W edge of the storm, as a station a mile to my NW recorded only 11mm, and another 2 miles to my SE recorded 38mm.

Might post some pics later but I'm afraid I was stuck with just pea to marble sized hail, and the accompanying rain washed it away very quickly.
