I know the feeling!!! Story of my life here, there are only small hills around me, but they seem to divert everything. Campden Hill in W8 (very near me) is the first hill that any precipitation from the SW hits, so always seems to divert it around, so I miss out, while Hampstead Heath diverts anything from the North.

Thames streamers are the bonaza for me.

Yeah, have a similiar problem with the hills here (in a valley).. Just started snowing now though!

Anyone know how many more hours of this Herts will get?

90mins at least, so fair chance for a few inches. Maybe a bit more, but no still, its not that deep a precip band, so...can't expect too much.

Maybe it'll stall though? 12 hours of this, and London will be closed for rest of 2009 :p

Ok so maybe I should be in South Central .... but this could be heading your way.

Chucking it down with snow here between Basingstoke and Reading since 1pm.

Roads, are all covered with a good couple of inches and are a nightmare ... even with my winter tyres.

All very festive
