Going to bed now, i'm quite optimistic for next week now, tonight I wasn't expecting anything, but recieved a dusting, i'm sure that we will get a good dumping sometime in the next 7 days

Heavy snow has now stopped with a good covering There's more snow showers intensifying off the North Sea which is great to see. I'm off to bed now. Bet I'll dream about snow!! Happy New Snow Year :lol: :lol:

Well, it snowed in Croydon around midnight - how excited was I standing out side the pub huh? just enough of a covering on the car to write "I luv snow" in it. Still some flakes the wind...

Hard frost here, -2.3c at the moment, been down to -2.9c.

Chances are our region is going to be hit by showers at quite a few stages during this coming cold spell, it'll be hit and miss but hopefully it'll last long enough so that most areas can have a share of any of the snow.

Canterbury Had about 20 - 30 minutes of snow from around 8.20 - 8.50 left a nice little covering on top of some " icing sugar " from the previous night.

Lovely clear blue sky out with a temp of -2.7c. That snow (pink shading) I saw on GFS yesterday for this mornings doesn't look like happening. I haven't checked what it's showing now because there's no point.

I'll look forward to the possibility of next week even if it's little!

Just had a passing snow shower here in St Ives which has given a dusting, current temp of -0.8c

nothing here in Leighton buzzard but a good hard frost it seems ,gorgeous blue sky just right for some photographs .
