I've just noticed that the low appears to be about 40 miles futher east than the BBC & co. forecasted, that should have a positive effect on any further snow chances for the mid/south midlands.

We've got 0.5cm, AGAIN. As soon as it hits that magic figure the snow stops- all these 10cms around us but Shrewsbury- just enough to scrape together a meagre snowball. God this town is a joke. More tonight or I'm off!

And the lampost watching in Melton Mowbray tells me................. it's stopped mellow.gif

Yep! My lampost must be pretty much in tune with yours !! Theres a chance that big lump hitting Northampton might make its way up though.

How was Looger-baroogah when you past through this evening? Hope the roads back to Melton were ok.

well the weird thing is meto and all other radars have it vanishing aswell. maybe its not a glitch? anyone else under a place where it supposedly vanished got any update on whether its still snowing?

We have had a steady but unexciting snowfall in the last 1 and half hours but the 20.00 and 20.15 radar pics showed the clouds near B'ham disappearing before reappearing at 20.30. Technical issue?cc_confused.gif
