Well folks it looks like we are gonna have a lovely sunny winters day today - enjoy it - could be totally different next week - lots of snow and ice - people getting stuck in cars etc etc etc - might get the odd flurry from the east - south east are gonna get the best of today's snow - but next week will be our time for snow!

No not true- the latest is the low is too far west next week so its all off again!! Best make the most of this weeks lovely frost, sunshine and chilliness, before next weeks cold rain!

Agreed a marginal situation overnight monday to tuesday - but this could change one way or the other - for better or worse! + there are still further ops for the low to deliver later in the week too - not all is lost yet!

Brief flurry this afternoon in Newport Andy - heavy frost on the car back at home- fingers crossed this is just a small (very small - think Gordon Ramsay type) starter before the main course next week

Derek just said Rain for parts of Pembrokeshire tonight... how disappointing?

Also a balmy 6c by Friday possibly 7c according to GMTV this morning, who admittedly seem to be very good on the detail. So where do we go from here.

Against all of that, a tremendous frost this morning, really thick over the cars - like a covering of snow. Lovely and clear today, the sunshine really does make you feel good.

well we are having snow showers here - some nice flakes too

temps may well get up a little during the day due to the influence of the sun but night time temps will still be low - after the weekend there is still a chance we will get more snow into next week - the set up is not quite nailed on yet and a hundred miles either way of the low coming down in the northerly will decide whether we get snow/sleet/rain - but i still think we have a good chance!

No Rain - Clear and -2 to -3 all over Wales
