Pretty pathetic here. It's been snowing for 2 hours now and hardly have 0.1cm on ground with some wet patches here and there....

Should be heavier in the hour :)

Down in Brighton for the weekend away from home in Reigate. Boiler broke last night so no heating until midday. A helpful plumber called Fabien sorted things out (only in Brighton would you get a plumber called Fabien!).

Looking at the readings for Shoreham just west of here the temperature peaked at 1.3c. At 17:00 it was 1.1c and the wind has veered from Easterly at 11am to SSE at 17:00. Is it too marginal here? There is some element of wind off the sea now which could make it borderline for snow.

Hopefully someone from Reigate (Great Plum are you out there?!) can post updates so we can plan our journey home tomorrow, or maybe Monday......

AS

Just wanted to pop in and say the type of snow currently falling is superb here. Nice dry, powder snow which is settling and drifting.

Don't even go there. Hope the team coach gets stuck on the M25!!

Hoping some snow will cheer me up.

Heard the second half of that. Sounds like you collapsed right at the end. Still reckon yourselves and Swindon are going up automatically.

Anyway, snow will make everything better.

Looks light on the Radar, cant see any heavy stuff yet??

It looks like its starting off light, with the heavier stuff behind. A good few hours of snow to come by the looks of the radar :drinks:
