We have white, fluffy, cold and wet stuff about the side of 20p floating down from the sky and blowing in the freshening wind - is it snow?

Yes it Lettuceing is - who'da thought it possible

From west to east the back edge of the precipitation has slowed considerably, the wind now has a northerly component to it and the temp (3.1c) and dewpionts (2c) are dropping…

Mk have you finished your bottle of mulled wine yet?

Temperature has dropped from 8.6 to 4.1 in the past three hours. Dew point 2.1. Mostly still rain, but like nanu, also seeing a few pulses of flakes.

Upminster Bridge has dropped from 9 degrees at noon down to 4.8 degrees. Nowt coming from the sky at the moment though of any form, except for some more bird sh*te on the bathroom windows. I am going to dismantle next door's bird feeder when they're not looking.

Back to drizzle at the moment. Downdrafts playing a big role in this from the looks of things, probably due to marginal dew points

Heavy rain here, wind has swung around to a more north westerly and really picked up. Felt very raw this morning up on Colley Hill although the temp at that time was 8c according to the car thermometer. It's a few degrees less than that here now in Reigate and there is just the odd hint of sleetiness starting to appear.

I don't really fancy going out again but I am running out of time to get a chicken for dinner tonight. Mind you, next door are away and I've always felt they had one guinea pig too many, so I do have options.....
