Yep several hours worth now and its hardly moved from its current position since around 15:30 places like the Snowdonia national park will be getting a right soaking now with no let up in sight

I live just outside the boundary of the  park, had an hour of moderate rain then back to drizzle. Amazing how a couple of miles can mean the difference between a non event and flooding.

I've been going through the environment agency and looking at the latest rivers levels. It looks like the river Eden at its rivers and streams Carlisle may just get away with it.

However looking towards West Cumbria the river levels are really starting rise. Stay safe

In Abergavenny, south Wales tonight and certainly the wind has been more of a feature than the rain this afternoon and evening, 40-50mph gusts through the valley here, Lake Vyrnwy seen a gust of 69mph tonight.

Ironically winds are light to calm across northern Scotland tonight, different story come Monday though, as a low rapidly deepens between NW Scotland and Iceland

Wet and windy morning after a very wet night, thankfully no reports of serious flooding at the moment but more water is likely to feed down into river valleys so levels may yet rise further... More rain forecast on and off throughout today so will just add to the problems.

Last 24hr approx rainfall accumulation.

The continued risk of more rainfall and in some areas that really can't cope with further rainfall.

Some photos of the flooding here in Cumbria today, the first two are of the River Cocker in Cockermouth and the third one is along the A66 between Keswick and Penrith, which is closed in both directions due to a small landslide.

You seem to have Precip type turned on which makes it all blue. It has been pretty heavy although had eased off a bit around that time.

BBC going for a line of heavy rain with possible associated thunderstorms into the early hours of Monday morning, can't see where it's originating from myself.

Aire is now close to its all time highest figures upstream from Leeds, looks like Leeds could be having a VERY bad day tomorrow when it gets down to there.
