Try adding a morning steroid nose spray like flixonase. It really knocks back the runny nose and streaming, gritty eyes.

can't use as i am on stuff for the eyes after cataract operations 😞

i never suffered  hay fever up to 4-5 years ago by it's definitely made up for it now.

mind you, it's a good excuse for not buying 'she who must be disobeyed' flowers 😮😉 😄

Yep works for me, I use pirinase, cause it has the same steroid in it the doctor used to prescribe, the changed it to one that didn't work, so I started buying this one. Not cheap though

Yes, but the trouble is, is that it's still cool in the morning, so jacket needed on way to work at 0600 but home journey at 1700 is too warm for a jacket on london transport 😞

plus; as an aged sun worshipper I actually am now looking to stay in the shade. Finding sunlight too warm on the skin and too bright on my eyes 😞

Funny old day here near the east coast of Suffolk. The analogy I've come up with is that it felt a bit like a poorly made sandwich, with some lovely blue sky either side but the filling in the middle was disappointing as - for a time - thick cloud (and cool breeze) moved in off the North Sea. Temp followed suit with it shooting up to 15C by 10.00 but then dropping a degree or two as the cloud moved in. Late afteroon/evening a yo yo as cloud came and went, the satellite image capturing the clear/cloudy scenario.

Really chilly for this time of year tbh. Not pleasant unless the sun is fully out.

14c here with dark grey cloud and moderate North Easterly breeze that “ goes through you not around you “  feels really chilly.

Light rain in last 15 minutes also.

Autumnal weather continues 🤮

It sucks. This Spring is proving so, so tiresome. We just cannot shake the trend of cool and cloudier in the South-East. We get a respite of 1, maybe 2 days at most, of warm and sunny weather, and then its back to the cloudy, cool dross with the chilly wind.

Bearing in mind the good days we've had are basically just average days for this time of year - 18/19c, maybe 20c with some sun. It should not be too much to ask for the SE in May. London averages at 10 days above 20c in May, which I highly, highly doubt we'll reach anywhere close to this year. We keep maxing at around 18/19c.

And it's cloudy and cold again, can't seem to see the sun for more than a day now

How we looking around Norfolk coast for 10th June so far in models! Holiday needed and Id like the weather lol last year was brill.

Just back from a weekend there. If you can think of an incantation that stops the nor'easter barrelling down the North Sea you'll be fine!

Haha can be quite a breeze at times! We were blessed last year with heatwave conditions! So can we be lucky two years in a row.

Been nice and sunny here for the most part, so can't complain, it's been cloudy all day, how ever it was still warm and usable, did some more gardening.

After a fantastic day in London we are back to the same old (cloud, then cloud and finishing off with more cloud).

Thought today was going to be a continuation of yesterday but after about 1/2 hours of clea skies this morning, the thick ol' boys have returned. Contrary, of course, to the Met Office prediction - and what my phone currently shows for London - sunny skies and high of 20c.

MetOffice forecast completely wrong...warm spells of sunshine "especially in the east". Here in central London it's almost 100% cloud cover, cool with a nagging and chilly NE breeze.  Absolute grot.

Yet another disappointingly grey and cool day. The GFS 06z run this morning was still going for clear skies for most of us by 11.00, whilst a glance out of the window showed reality. Bearing in mind many phone apps use GFS data (as it's free) you can see why many apps have been useless today.

GFS for 11.00 (black is clear) Could contain: Nature, Outdoors, Person, Chart, Plot, Storm

Satellite still cloudy at 14.45 Could contain: Land, Nature, Outdoors, Sea, Water, Rainforest, Vegetation, Coast, Peninsula, Shoreline
