Just looked at the outlook.... and this wind remains with us for at least another week. Utterly bonkers. I mat start doing a warm dance. A to watch up as I like the window open and B just to drop this wind

light rain in SE london this morning, still grey and cloudy over Westminster now.

the wind has been more nagging than a nagging wife having a nag and doesn't seem to have abated today.

Which hasn’t abated the wife or the wind 😄

Tra la, it's the last day of May and I’m freezing cold, I was going to go out today but decided to wait until the sunshine comes back so literally chilled out at home, soup and fluffy socks - I’d like to think next month would be better but have had to remind myself that Flaming June is a painting not a forecast!

Looks like it will be dry forever. The BBC might as well record a forecast today and play it on a loop forever, dry, breezy some sunny intervals, that's your weather until forever😱

"Some sunny intervals" being an afternoon for 4/5 hours, once a week. Lol.

just seen the 1930 forecast on the beeb, looks like the north easterly is still going to play a part in things. uv levels may be high, but the breeze will temper it a bit. not too unhappy with that as i would like a gradual increase in temps rather than a sudden rise. but still struggling with the strength of the sun on the skin. never ever bothered me for the last 50 years; post covid, i cant handle it 😞

Just arrived in Kensington to clear blue skies & a very pleasant 19c from the cold grey 12c Yorkshire coast.

Blooming marvellous to see some sun again it’s been a while 😁

They've utterly failed since Monday!  Not the first time either, their funding should be cut

A fine morning, warm enough to be out in just a t shirt prior to 10am - a rarity here thus far in the SE this year.

Indeed we have had warm days but generally the mornings have been very cool.

Today is a genuinely "summer" feel and I am 100% here for it.

Garden looking particularly lush after the wet early and mid Spring, and not a cloud in the sky to boot.

Essex (Upminster area).

Nicely starting to feel like summer now. Breeze is still a little chilly but the icyness has gone out of it. Bring on the hot days and stormy nights!
