Can hear it rumbling away in luton. I'm currently drenched like a drowned rat hopefully something a bit more direct in a hour or so, instability looks to carry on to late evening across CE, won't be as big as the Welwyn garden one. But hopefully some closer flashed and bangs

Yup the cell to south is dying out as per normal. Just hoping for enough rain to wet the garden

Nice. I’m not allowed any decent action just because I got lucky visiting my folks the weekend of the Bournemouth mega storm in 2015

I decided to head out and i've got about as far as Uttoxeter. However, storms where they form seem to have a lifespan of about 15 minutes. Therefore not easy to chase or get onto. I may get lucky

Yeah… Guess why I’ve been quiet today? Lol ?‍

Anyway… Swerving swiftly back on topic.

Sadly this looks like being yet another bust for me again. *sigh*

But here is the latest image of lightning around the U.K. at moment.

Just up the road from you and we have had a right ol pasting with rivers down the street,i am hoping that these cells are recycling/back building into a storm later but i feel it's not going to happen.

Still rumbling away here got some good beefy rumbles going on about every 5 mins or so possibly starting to die out but its still got that green hue to the sky so I'm hoping there's more on the way

Looking at radar to ssw seems still time for bit more activity...as the storms just pop up out of nowhere in the zone...

A short spell of heavy rain now turning light again. Thundery activity died away as expected. However it will damped the garden a little bit.

It all looks cracking from my view in the office in Doncaster. All missing us so far but good cloudscapes.

The last radar return shows the PPN exploding into life again,...will we get lucky?
