Yeah it does make people easier to anger. I see it in car parking when there's issues with paying or exiting and on the roads.

Not just you lol. This muck just makes everything more difficult and tedious. Robs you of your comfort and sanity.

The GFS FI looks really nice with NE winds again but should be slightly warmer than the previous NE winds we had in May?

It can't be as bad as air from the South?

Well it's still too warm out there but the humidity is falling nicely now.  Hope this cooling trend persists for a while.  At least the awful soupy humidity has gone!

It's not, but it's not much better. Being shielded by the Pennines means we get highest day time temps and highest overnight temps.

Give me a north westerly or better yet, a northerly any day. Nothing good comes from air sucked out of Europe.

The brief time the sun went in felt like a massive temp drop lol. Continental air is just foul.

Humidity is 30-35% today. Air is very dry, not soupy at all!

Still boiling hot from the sun though. Like I said, there is no "good" heat.

Low 20s should be enough for anyone. Our homes aren't built for the likes of this.

Not sure for where you re but MetO is saying 23/24c for my area by the end of the week and into the weekend.  I just hope the humidity doesn't come back.

Blimey, it’s 28 degrees not 50! Each to their own though.

Anything above 24c makes me feel ill. I've had migraines since the heat started on Saturday and my body feels like a lead weight. You don't know how lucky you are.

One of life's great mysteries. I always remember the TWO sites founder Brian Gaze saying he can sleep fine in 40 degrees.

We're all the same, yet so very different.

Yeah probably had 3 hours sleep last night at best, kept waking up and going to the bathroom to splash some cold water on my face to cool down. I have no issues with cold weather and I just don't feel it at all. I appreciate not everyone is like that though.

It is by far the worst air mas we can get, the stench even reaches this far north, its air being dragged over polluted hot baked countries, why the hell would anyone want that!

is it a luxury these days? 40 years ago central heating was a luxury but now?

And 2000 years ago, the Romans invented the Hypocaust... just saying. 👍

As it was last year, this thread is for people who don't enjoy the heat. If that's not you, there are several thousand other threads to choose from!

Apologies as I haven't got round to adding it yet. I live in skelmersdale so, our little nuck is the hotspot for easterlies. We don't cool as much as the rest of the county at night either.

I don't enjoy the 'heat' hated July 17th to 19th, not too bad now though
