F doesn't even make sense to me. What does the zero mean for them? No idea. Same as it doesn't make sense to put the month before the day in writing down a date. 😉

Interesting to note how Autumn 2023 bookended by very warm and cold start and end.

Indeed a curiosity is how the opening start to the last 5 seasons brought either warmth or cold.. Spring chilly rather than especially cold, winter last year cold, summer and autumn heat, now cold again for winter coming...

-1c. Proper thick frost this morning. Sky looks like a "snow sky" so we shall see

It’s been fairly lightly/moderately snowing in Exeter, Devon, rare for November 🙂⛄️ it’s not settling though, Dartmoor Is to our west where I think it’s snowing heavier and settling due to elevation.

My main point was that forecasters should be saying degrees celcius rather than degrees in their forecasts as it would be misleading to some foreigners ie Americans

Lucky lady! A nice end to autumn. No snow IMBY, a very sharp frost overnight though. And some interesting looking clouds forming...is it possible that they might bring some seasonal delight...?!

Hope you get to see some snow ❄️

Yes, it’s rare for here in November, it feels frigid outside…looks stormy on the latest gfs which is my favourite type of autumn/winter weather, not had any gales so far but had a close call with the storm that hit Channel Islands/northwest France a few weeks back, had it tracked 50 -100 miles further north it would have been one for the history books

Nothing so far, but a beautiful clear sky now and very cold! Just as I like it at this time of year, so no complaints from me. A snow bonus would be most welcome, of course! In some ways I find it 'satisfying' that autumn started with high summer temps, and ends with what could definitely be called winter weather!

Hope you get some of what you like too, in spite of our little differences when it gets too hot for me (!) I always enjoy your posts, mate! 🙂

No snow over here. But at least it's crisp and sunny which is the next best thing. ☀️

First time Edmonton has recorded a November with zero snow falling all month in fact had 0mm of any kind of precip this month..cold and sunny today but in reality the high of -3c is still +2c above normal for the time of year..next week back to highs of +6 to +8c again...its been an amazing November

Well that's autumn coming to an end. It's better than recent ones I have to admit. As a t-storm and warmth fan September was my favourite month out of the lot, but November has ended quite nicely too. A decent amount of sunshine with little precipitation these last few days, which is welcome to see after a very wet autumn that lead to some quite bad flooding in a number of areas by mid October.

I think many have had their sunniest November in quite a few years, about 85 hours here. @SunSean be interesting to see the sunshine table soon!

Some of my favorite autumn foliage photos below which I've been focusing on trying to capture more of this season!

IMBY meteorological Autumn has been very good. It was definitely on the wetter side but all 3 months had very decent amounts of sunshine and a mix of hot/warm sunny days and cold/cool crisp sunny days with also lots of amazing weather phenomena caught from Moonbows to Fire Rainbows! Arguably the best season of 2023 so far?

Well this morning it was ok when it was snowing, now it’s breezy, raining and 2C and the cold is absolutely cutting. It’s the worst weather ever.

I find high humidity far far worse, its invasive nature causes more issues both for work and home life.

Very nice.

Autumn seems to be the "shortest" season by far nowadays, at least, what's left of it does.

Evening @CharlieBear9😊

Sadly yes, it does seem short… Or does it go too fast?

But if you know where to look, the signs of autumn often do appear just after the summer solstice. 😊👍🏻
