The only thing left not tinted white now is the road...!

Anyway, time for another chart.

post-10818-12665104241017_thumb.png

Doesnt appear to be heading south on the western side atm. Hopefully as the low continues to move east this will be more apparent, for all of us in the midlands its what we need to happen to keep the precip falling for quite a few more hours.

Moderate falls of sleet for an hour or more but nothing sticking and temperatures still too high at +3ºC. Dewpoint down to 0ºC though.

Temperatures need to fall now with darkness and for the PPN not to die off or move too far East/NE.

Getting close to 3 inches here now, is it still due to intensify over the region this evening? Malvern Must have 5 to 6 inches by now I would have thought!

Cheers

Halesowen now in "Snow Factor 3" - Everything (except roads) are at least half-covered by white. Perhaps white tinges on edges of roads.

Some very impressive rainfall in the south near the center of the low

Where's that image from, SnowTornado? Is it a Netweather image?

Settling a little on grass and pavements here, but not heavy enough to settle on roads which are very wet.

The strange thing about today is even though its been bucketing it down for a couple of hours or so now its very wet stuff, with only a dusting of snow about, it really is'nt topping up at all atm. Really need the temperture to drop abit more. I actually got more snow cover from a 40 minute snow shower last week than i have outside atm even though todays snow has been more intense and longer lasting so far.

Real, proper snow now in Bewdley. Down to 0.7°C and snowing steadily. Thin covering now on grass and car roofs and starting to add house roofs too. Roads still just wet.
