The weekend low was a shortwave developing in the nw of the UK troughing moving se , this weekend the low is moving in against a wedge of heights to the north .

Historically those get corrected south because a wedge even a weakish looking one the forcing is often underestimated.

I know most of Essex didn’t do great from last weekend so fingers crossed for you that the next few shortwave attempts can bring something to  your neck of the woods .

Yes great trends this afternoon for sure just hope that ecm comes on board too as well as the Navgem . The more models on board the better .

In my opinion, the GEM has been the most consistent producing blocked runs in the 8-10 day timeframe for quite a few days now.  And more to the point, blocking in the right places.  That doesn’t mean it is right, but it certainly means it shouldn’t be ignored.

The UKMO is the run of the lot imo it’s got snow written all over it for the South.  Battleground we will be, with cold getting the upper hand.
